Optional website analytics

If you choose “Accept analytics”, we use Google Analytics to understand where visitors come from, which pages they visit, and whether they click an email contact link. This helps us improve our website and assess our search content.

Google processes page visits, browser and device information, approximate location and cookie identifiers. We do not send your email address or email message to Analytics. We remove query strings and fragments from the page address sent to Analytics. Advertising features are disabled.

Analytics is off until you accept. Rejecting analytics does not stop you from using the website. Measurements therefore cover consenting visitors only. A contact click does not confirm that an email was sent.

Cookies and your choice

Google Analytics uses cookies named _ga and _ga_… to distinguish visits. We set their lifetime to 180 days without extending it on each visit. We also store your acceptance or rejection in your browser’s local storage for up to 180 days.

Use “Cookie settings” in the footer on any page to change your choice. Rejecting after acceptance stops future Analytics collection and removes Analytics cookies available to this website. The page reloads to unload the Google tag. This does not automatically erase data already received by Google. You can also remove cookies and local storage through your browser settings.

Service providers and contact messages

Vercel hosts this website and processes connection information needed to deliver it. Fonts load from Google Fonts, which receives the network information needed to serve those files. These services are separate from optional Analytics.

If you email us, your email provider and our email provider process your message so we can respond. Do not include sensitive information that is not needed for your request.

Google and our service providers may process information outside your country. Read how Google uses information from sites that use its services, Google’s privacy policy and Vercel’s privacy policy. Contact us to ask about access, correction or deletion of information you have given us.
